St. Louis Metropolitan Police Officer Louis Sebold was shot and killed in the line of duty on October 5, 1975 after he approached a man with a gun in a church who opened fire and shot him twice in the chest.
Officer Sebold served with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department for 17 years. He left behind his wife and six children.
We honor and remember Officer Louis Sebold and the ultimate sacrifice he made for our safety.
