St. Louis Fire Captain Leonard Riggins Sr. was shot and killed in the line of duty on November 5, 2008 when approaching the scene of a car crash the driver opened fire on him.
Captain Riggins served with the St. Louis Fire Department for 15 years. He left behind his wife and two sons.
We honor and remember Captain Leonard Riggins Sr. and the ultimate sacrifice he made for our safety.
