The BackStoppers is providing assistance to two Jefferson County Paramedics who were severely injured in a vehicle accident on July 12, 2020. Both paramedics serve with the Joachim-Plattin Ambulance District. Each will be given assistance to aid with medical costs and other expenses.

“We recognize the sacrifice made by these two paramedics who dedicate their lives to helping others. It is my hope and prayer that these two heroes begin a path to recovery. We are honored to provide assistance which will relieve the financial burden of medical bills and other expenses. Please continue to show gratitude and well wishes to all those in public service who protect and serve.” – Chief Ron Battelle, Executive Director of The BackStoppers

Please consider showing your gratitude to these public servants by making a gift to BackStoppers today.

Your support makes an impact on the lives of the approximately 80 families with 70 children we serve.  Donations allow us to provide health, dental, and vision insurance, reimburse for all out-of-pocket medical expenses, assist with tuition and other education expenses, and more.

It is because of our generous members and supporters that we are able to provide $2 million on average annually to the families of fallen and catastrophically injured heroes.  Thank you for your continued support!
