Illinois State Trooper Nicholas Hopkins was shot and killed in the line of duty on August 23, 2019 while serving a search warrant.
Trooper Hopkins served with the Illinois State Police for 10 years. He left behind his wife and three children.
We honor and remember Trooper Nicholas Hopkins and the ultimate sacrifice he made for our safety.
