North County Police Officer Michael Langsdorf was shot and killed in the line of duty on June 23, 2019 after responding to a call involving a suspect who was trying to cash a fraudulent check.
Officer Langsdorf served with the North County Police Cooperative for three months and was a 17-year veteran of law enforcement. He left behind his 13-year old daughter and 18-year old son.
