St. Louis Metropolitan Police Officer James Branson Jr. died in the line of duty on March 9, 2003 as a result of injuries sustained several days prior in a vehicle accident while in pursuit of a stolen vehicle.
Officer Branson served with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department for four years. He left behind his wife and four children.
