Brooklyn Police Officer Brian Pierce Jr. died in the line of duty on August 4, 2021 when he was struck by a vehicle while attempting to lay down spike strips.
Officer Pierce served with the Brooklyn Police Department for nine months and had previously served with the Spillerton Police Department for two years. Along with his law enforcement service, he was also a Fire Marshal, and he provided service to local first responder departments by installing emergency lights on emergency vehicles. He left behind his loving family.
