Centreville Police Lieutenant Gregory Jonas was shot and killed in the line of duty on June 2, 2009 while on patrol in an apartment complex.
Lieutenant Jonas served with the Centreville Police Department for 15 years and with the Alorton Police Department for eight years. He left behind his wife and six children.
We honor and remember Lieutenant Gregory Jonas and the ultimate sacrifice he made for our safety.
