We would like to celebrate and recognize the 100th birthday of Lucille Brommelhorst! We are blessed to know Lucille and had the honor of celebrating her over the weekend. Lucille, we hope you had an unforgettable celebration. Thank you for including us on this very special day.
Lucille is the surviving spouse of Spanish Lake Firefighter William Brogdon who made the ultimate sacrifice on January 22, 1960. Firefighter Brogdon’s family was the first family to be assisted by BackStoppers.
BackStoppers Executive Director, Chief Ron Battelle, presented Lucille with birthday cards from our Board. She received 200 birthday cards from loved ones and the community! Our friends and supporters at St. Louis Independent Car Klub also conducted a parade in Lucille’s honor.
We are incredibly honored to know Lucille and to have been a part of this grand celebration.
