Orchard Farm Firefighter Larry Lawhorn died in the line of duty on May 3, 2015 while en route to a structure fire in Portage des Sioux.
Firefighter Lawhorn was a 17-year member of the Orchard Farm Fire Protection District. He had previously served with the St. Charles Fire Protection District for 19 years. He left behind his wife and adult children.
We honor and remember Firefighter Larry Lawhorn and the ultimate sacrifice he made for our safety.
