The Kicks on 66 Ultra Car Show & Cruise will be held on September 10th at the On the Hill Golf Course- American Legion Post #199.
The Route 66 Kicks, Inc. nonprofit (“Kicks on 66”) organization was established in 2021 and is dedicated to tapping into the exceptionally strong motoring (cars, motorcycles, etc.) culture in St. Louis and surrounding southern and central Illinois area, as well as the history of Route 66, to create economic impact benefiting Edwardsville, IL and surrounding communities.
To accomplish that mission, Kicks on 66 hosts annually what has quickly become one of the largest car shows in the metro St. Louis area. Hosted annually at On the Hill Golf Course, owned and operated by American Legion Post #199 and located on historic Route 66 in Edwardsville, IL, the show invites owners of cars, motorcycles and vehicles of all makes and models to display their rides on a grass-covered, show field comprising the fairways of the nine-hole golf course.
Following the show, all vehicles on display exit the fairway, creating a parade of two-, three- and four-wheel exotics, resto-mods, ratrods, muscle cars, hogs, superbikes and so many more – all cruising Route 66.
