The Lafayette Square 1 Mile Patriot Day Race will be held on September 11th beginning at Fountain Plaza.
• 7am to 9am
Lafayette Square Patriot Day Race is a 1-mile course around historic Lafayette Park. This timed race features prize money for the top 3 finishers in the male and female categories ($200, $100, $50) and a $25 gift card to the top age-group finisher for male and female runners. There will be a ceremonial 1st responder/military run to kick off the day. T-shirts (Blue/Red/Military Green) for runners who register by August 15th. All runners age 21 & older get a free post-race beer or cocktail.
The run benefits BackStoppers, Charter Athletic League, and the Lafayette Square Neighborhood Association.
