St. Louis Metropolitan Police Captain (Retired) David Dorn was shot and killed on June 2, 2020 when he responded responded to an alarm at a pawn shop where he served as a security guard.
Captain (Retired) Dorn served with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department for 38 years and had served as the Chief of Police for Moline Acres. He left behind his wife and adult children.
