Chesterfield Fire Captain Raymond Trog Jr. died in the line of duty on March 2, 1979 while fighting a house fire.
Captain Trog was 27 years old. He served with the Chesterfield Fire Protection District twice; once beginning at age 18 and again three years prior to his death, having served with the U.S. Air Force in between. He left behind his wife and two sons.
We honor and remember Captain Raymond Trog Jr. and the ultimate sacrifice he made for our safety.
