Blake Hager, a fourteen year old freshman from Jackson Senior High School in Jackson, Missouri, decided to highlight the work of BackStoppers for a school assignment called the Passion Project. This project is meant to display an organization or building project that holds special meaning to the student.

Blake shares why he chose BackStoppers, “I chose to support the BackStoppers for my 9th-grade passion project because I feel it is important to give back to our law enforcement and first responders for all that they do for our communities, it has been an honor to support them!”

For two weeks, Blake went out into his community and sold 50/50 tickets benefiting BackStoppers. He raised over $250 for our mission!

We would like to thank Blake for his efforts and dedication to the families we serve. It is always moving to see the younger generation raise awareness and take action to support the work that we do.
