Our mission needs your help to support families of the fallen and first responders who have suffered a catastrophic injury in the line of duty.
The BackStoppers is providing $10,000 in assistance to two law enforcement officers who were shot in the line of duty on Friday, May 28th. Deputy Zachary Faulkner of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office was shot in a gunfire exchange where the suspect began firing on the surrounding law enforcement presence. A St. Louis Metropolitan Police Officer was also shot upon attempting to halt a suspect driving a vehicle wanted for robbery. When the officer approached the suspect’s vehicle, the suspect opened fire striking the officer.
We are keeping these two brave officers in our prayers during their recovery process, and we are honored to provide this assistance for medical bills and other expenses.
Since the beginning of 2019, we have added 12 families of fallen first responders to our assistance, and have aided 25 first responders that have been shot or injured in the line of duty.
Please consider helping us continue serving first responders catastrophically injured in the line of duty and those who make the ultimate sacrifice for our safety.
Your support makes an impact on the lives of the families of the fallen and injured first responders we serve. Donations allow us to provide health care coverage and medical expenses, assist with education costs, and make payments of assistance for catastrophically injured first responders.
It is because of our generous members and supporters that we are able to provide $2 million on average annually to the families of fallen and catastrophically injured heroes. Thank you for your continued support!
