The BackStoppers is providing assistance to four St. Louis Metropolitan police officers who were severely injured on duty this month. On January 24, 2022, two officers were struck by a vehicle while assisting a stalled vehicle. On January 26, 2022, two officers were shot upon attempting to apprehend a suspect.
We are keeping these four brave officers in our prayers during their recovery process, and we are honored to provide this assistance for medical bills and other expenses.
Since the beginning of 2021, we have added 11 families of fallen first responders to our assistance in addition to aiding first responders who have been severely injured on duty.
