Woodard’s Raffle is back! And it’s even bigger than before. Woodard Cleaning and Restoration’s 2016 raffle drawing is this Monday, November 21st. That means there is not much time left to get your tickets for some of the greatest raffle prizes to be offered in one single fundraiser. This dedicated group hopes to far exceed last year’s total raised. You can help them out by purchasing a chance to win a Yeti Tundra Cooler, Stainless Steel Gas Grill, and more. Take a look at what Woodard has to say about their raffle that supports the families of fallen heroes:
“Woodard is dedicated to partnering with The BackStoppers in our biggest fundraiser of the year because we have such close relationships with first responders in St. Louis and surrounding areas. We feel the pain when one of these heroes is lost or severely injured, and admire the work that The BackStoppers organization does to support these heroes and their families. Through our raffle fundraiser and our Guns ‘N Hoses sponsorship, we raise tens of thousands of dollars each year for this wonderful organization, and we plan to continue our support in the future. Last year’s raffle raised almost $30,000 for The BackStoppers, and our goal this year is to raise $50,000. To help foster our efforts this year, we have partnered with local Fire Protection Districts, Police Departments, businesses, and our Woodard staff to sell raffle tickets, with all proceeds going directly to The BackStoppers and Guns ‘N Hoses.”
Get your tickets in these final three days before Monday’s big drawing, and catch Ring of Champions sponsor Woodard Restoration in the ring at Budweiser Guns ‘N Hoses on Thanksgiving Eve presenting their check to support our mission.
Visit Woodard Cleaning and Restoration’s Facebook page for more information and photos from last year’s raffle drawing celebration. Contact the Woodard Team at (314) 300-9567, at their website, or on Facebook for details to purchase tickets. Tickets are only $10 each or 6 for $50. Check out some of the great prizes below!
The BackStoppers is now assisting the family of Deputy Sheriff Paul Clark of the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department who died in the line of duty on July 4, 2016 as a result of injuries sustained months prior. On October 27, 2015, Deputy Clark’s patrol car was struck by a suspect who was fleeing the scene of a traffic stop. Deputy Clark suffered a broken back that resulted in multiple surgeries.
Deputy Clark, who was 55-years old, was an 18 year veteran of law enforcement. He served with the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department for 13 years and had previously served with the Park Hills Police Department for five years. He leaves behind his wife and two adult children. Deputy Paul Clark’s family, friends, and co-workers will remain in our thoughts and prayers.

The BackStoppers now assists 81 families with 66 dependent children. Our assistance is immediate and ongoing. Within hours of the death of a first responder, his or her family receives a check for $5,000 to be used in whatever way they need.
Within a few weeks, our representatives meet with the surviving spouse to identify the family’s other financial obligations, eliminate the family’s debt, and provide ongoing support for education and other extraordinary expenses.
We recognize the tremendous sacrifices that public servants make every day when they go to work. We understand the burdens placed on surviving spouses and children when tragedies occur. We believe our community has an obligation to care for the loved ones of those who have protected us. We accept the responsibility to make that happen. Join us in our cause. Help us provide life-long support for families of fallen heroes by donating or joining online or by mail to the address below.
